The Alverton Hotel
A Hotel Full of Character
We arrived at the The Alverton Hotel and were greeted by the warm and friendly staff.
The four silver star hotel is a historic Grade II listed building. Previously a convent it is romantic and completely original with its own bell tower, slate roof, arched mullioned windows, ivy clad walls and curved archways uncovering hidden hideaways.
Jason was absolutely spoilt by the lovely staff, who brought him colouring pencils and books whilst he waited for his food. At dinner we had a few cocktails and Jason was jealous of the cherries we had on top. To our surprise, when Jason's next drink came out the staff had put a cherry on top of it and it made his day! It's the little things that make such a big difference.
