Laura Ashley Tea Room at The Highbullen Hotel!

Today we had afternoon tea in the Laura Ashley Tea Room at The Highbullen Hotel! The service was outstanding and food was absolutely delicious! Just take a look at all the lovely food on the stands! Nothing beats a warm scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam! Everything is freshly made in house and the menu was a joint collaboration between Laura Ashley and the chefs at The Highbullen Hotel. The decor is fabulous and in the distinctive signature style of Laura Ashley and there are so many beautiful little touches that add to the charm of this tea room1 I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to experience the time honoured British tradition of afternoon tea! The big question though is how do you pronounce scone? "S-cone" or "s-con"
